Portzo aims to keep fund data current
Portzo uses fund data from pension providers and other relevant sources where available. The timing of updates can depend on when providers publish new values, how frequently a fund is priced and whether the data source is available in a consistent format.
Some funds may update more often than others. Daily-priced funds can have more regular data, while other fund ranges may publish factsheets or performance updates on a monthly or less frequent basis.
When comparing funds, it is useful to check the date behind the numbers. A return shown on one date may not match another site if that site has newer or older data.
How to use the data
- Treat fund values as a snapshot in time.
- Compare funds over the same time period where possible.
- Use longer periods to reduce the effect of short-term market moves.
- Check provider documents for official scheme information.
Portzo helps you make sense of fund data, but it is educational only and does not provide personal pension advice.
